Angry Chickz is officially bringing the heat to the Sunflower State! We're excited to announce the grand opening of our first Kansas location in Olathe on Friday, October 23, 2026, marking a major milestone as our 50th restaurant nationwide!

Located at 14995 W. 119th St. in Olathe, KS, our newest restaurant is ready to introduce the Kansas City community to the bold flavors, juicy chicken, and signature heat that Angry Chickz fans know and love.

From East Hollywood to 50 Locations Nationwide

What started in 2018 as a small, 900-square-foot restaurant in East Hollywood, California, has grown into a Nashville hot chicken brand with locations across the country.

Founded by CEO David Mkhitaryan, Angry Chickz was built on a simple mission: serve up delicious Nashville hot chicken with bold flavors and an unforgettable guest experience.

Now, eight years later, we're celebrating 50 locations, and we couldn't be more excited to make Kansas part of the Angry Chickz family!

"Opening our first restaurant in Kansas is an exciting milestone for Angry Chickz," said David Mkhitaryan, CEO and founder of Angry Chickz. "We've grown from one small restaurant in East Hollywood by staying focused on great food, a memorable experience and the communities we serve. We can't wait to introduce Angry Chickz to Olathe and become part of the Kansas City community."
